The School Blueprint

Build a school where your mission, educational program, and everyday experience work together. Developed using John Hattie’s research of Collective Teacher Efficacy–one of the most powerful influences in student learning–The School Blueprint helps your school define what makes it distinct, establish a shared approach to teaching and learning, and build a culture that reflects its Christian mission.

  • What makes our school different from the other schools families can choose?

  • Do our teachers share the same beliefs about how students learn?

  • What do we want every student and family to experience at our school?

  • Does our school's culture reflect the values we say are important?

  • How do we preserve what makes our school special as we grow and change?

Who are we….really?

The School Blueprint helps your school answer these questions together.

Through research, listening, and collaborative work, we help you define your school's identity, educational philosophy, and culture—creating a shared foundation for the decisions you make and the future you're building.

Year 1 - Part 1: Understand Your Community

We begin by listening and learning. Through parent interviews, demographic research, a congregational survey, and an area school study, we help your school better understand the families you serve, the community around you, and what makes your school distinct.

The result: A comprehensive Community Insights Report to guide decision-making.

Year 1 - Part 2: Clarify Your Unique Identity

Together, we use this research to define who your school is, what it stands for, how it meets your community needs, and how your ministry carries out its mission uniquely. This results in a shared, clear identity from which your leadership, faculty, team, and congregation can make informed decisions and focused strategic plans.

The result: Your School’s 3 Identity Pillars (Christian, education, and culture), Brand Message, Mission Refinement, and a Messaging Guide to execute your clarified identity in day-to-day ministry.

Year 2 - Part 1: Build Your Educational Philosophy

We work with your faculty and leadership to establish a shared understanding of what Christian education uniquely looks like at your school. Together, we identify the beliefs and principles that should guide instruction, student development, and educational decisions.

The result: A written Educational Philosophy, Educational Pillars, and a practical Pillars-in-Action Framework that gives your team a common foundation for teaching, learning, and program development.

Year 2 - Part 2: Develop Your Culture Commitments

We help your team identify the values, behaviors, relationships, and practices that your team wants to define your school community. Then we work together to establish practical ways to build and reinforce that culture throughout the school.

The result: Culture Commitments and a School Culture Framework that helps your team intentionally create a school experience consistent with your mission, identity, and educational philosophy.

A shared foundation for building the future of Christian education, together.

When your school has a shared understanding of who you are, what you believe about education, and the culture you want to create, that understanding begins to shape everything you do.

It guides decisions about programs and priorities. It brings consistency to classrooms and school experiences. It helps families understand what makes your school special. And it gives your leadership, faculty, and congregation a common direction as you plan for the future.
