A Website Solution for Schools

While serving schools with marketing support, I noticed that many schools struggled to find website solutions that were affordable, well-designed, community-focused and functioned as tools to grow enrollment. Along the way I met another marketing professional with the same experience, as well as a passion to help schools reach their communities and grow. Together, we decided to create a website solution for schools.

Your school website is the foundation of your marketing efforts and often the first place families go to learn about your school. It’s critical that your website engages, informs, and connects with prospective families. This is what we kept in mind as we were building our school website solution. Here’s how Blueprint School’s websites help reach your community:

Functionality

  • Uses clear and frequent calls-to-action to guide prospects to schedule a tour or leave basic visitor information so you can follow up with prospects

  • Designed to work seamlessly on all devices: desktops, laptops, tablets, and phones

  • Equipped with basic SEO (Search Engine Optimization) so your website can “get found” online

  • Installed with Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools to track your traffic and the performance of ad campaigns.

Design & Messaging

  • Represents your school’s brand consistently and professionally

  • Incorporates high quality photographs and caches pages properly so that images inspire viewers, but don’t increase page load times

  • Utilizes design/headers to make your site scannable for busy parents

  • Engages with warm, invitational copy

Security

  • Set up with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) to protect the transmission of information

  • Routed through CloudFlare for additional security and speed

  • Built in cookie acknowledgement to abide with privacy regulations

Platform & Management

  • Blueprint School’s websites utilizes Wordpress as the Content Management System

and is hosted on a Virtual Private Server optimized for speed and security.

  • WordPress has “open source” code, which means that if you ever want to upgrade

your site or move it to another platform, you will be able to do so easily.

  • Easy enough for your school staff to manage on their own, so you save money on website management and are always in control of your content.
